FIFTYFIFTYFILMS©

Seeing films is a way of thinking.

- Amos Vogel

FAIRUZ: WE LOVED EACH OTHER SO MUCH

FIFTYFIFTYFILMS© is a cinema program that resuscitates obscure, forgotten, and hard-to-find films and gives money to the people who make them.

As an act of refusing a cultural economic system that has devalued labor and completely destablized the creative industry in order to provide endless streams, FFF© will share all profits with the filmmaker in a 50/50 split. This simple equation symbolizes our collective view that we all share in the value of the culture we create and consume and simultaenously generates material gains for filmmakers that are far larger than the “standard” screening fee. As FFF© grows more filmmakers will make a living from their labor, gain financial independence, and be enabled to create more challenging and interesting work free of any algorithmic imperative.

If you believe in the power of cinema, if you miss the thrill of it, if supporting films that exist outside of the system speaks to your values, you can support FIFTYFIFTYFILMS© simply by buying a shirt.
